Aston Martin Virage Volante (2011-2012)

The Virage was Aston Martin’s in-between car. Aimed at enthusiastic drivers who still want to use their supercar on a regular basis. It uses the same platform as the DB9 and DBS but is neither as restrained as the former or as out and out aggressive as the latter. The mixed character of the Virage attracted few customers and the car was discontinued after only 12 months. This makes it rather a rarity and potentially collectable in the future.

The Aston Martin Virage Volante obviously comes from the same family as the other cars, but many of the body panels and interior parts were new and the Virage has a character all of its own. Much of the body styling was later inherited by an update of the DB9.
