The Ginetta G20 is more of a racing car than something designed for practical road use. There are no doors, boot-lid, hood or side windows so although it may look more like a ‘proper car’ than a Caterham, it’s no less of a no frills, raw driving experience. It’s most at home on the track either on a public trackday or as part of one of Ginetta’s own racing series’. The price is very low for the performance and the 1.8 litre Ford engine should be reliable. It’s a windy experience behind the wheel but in most cases driver’s grins will be protected by a crash helmet.
The G20 remains available as a track car only.
