The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster is an old-school supercar yet with the improvements made by Audi it is also far better made and easier to drive than Lamborghinis of old. That said it’s more than a handful when pushed and it takes a lot of courage to drive it anywhere near its limits. A monster of a V12 engine gives more power than you could ever wish for and needs careful maintenance and deep pockets. The Murcielago roadster cures the coupe’s lack of head room but has a very complicated roof. The latest car has radically improved fuel economy thanks to Audi technology.
Perhaps the last of the terrifying, hairy-chested, analogue Lamborghini supercars.
