New Audi TT Roadster
Audi have given us the first glimpse of their new TT Roadster to be launched Spring 2006. Although less radical than the previous TT this new model appears to make a more attractive roadster. The lines are longer and more elegant and it promises to be better performing and better equipped.

It will have a fabric roof which folds down in 15 second leaving the rigid front panel as a tonneau cover when lowered. At the rear of the car is an electrically powered rear spoiler that retracts to sit flush with the body at lower speeds.

It will be offered with either the 2.0-litre turbo FSI or 3.2 V6 petrol engines, with the V6 using Audi's quattro four-wheel-drive system.
When it launches prices have been confirmed at £26,915 for the 2.0T and £31,535 for the 3.2 quattro. we recommend you get your order in early.

Caparo T1 Convertible Prototype
At first glance you might be forgiven for thinking the Caparo T1 is a dreamed up concept car that will never reach production. But this prototype supercar is due for launch in 2007. You might be forgiven for thinking that this is another start-up car manufacturer with minimal budget producing an under-developed car. But Caparo is in-fact a $1.25 billion multinational company. The surprises keep on coming.
The over used phrase "a Formula 1 car for the roads" is perhaps more apt for this car than any other. Powered by an F1 V8 engine and developed by members of the team that developed the McLaren F1, The Caparo T1 promises to be a ground breaking sportscar. The secret to it's performance is it's super-light weight. Caparo claim that at only 470kg it will be capable of 200mph and 0-60mph in around 2.5 seconds.
The first running prototype is currently being tested as a two seat convertible. When it reaches production in March 2007 it will cost £150,000 and be produced at a rate of just 24 cars per year.
