Daihatsu Copen
The Copen is the kind of cute little car that could only come from Japan. It was one of the first small convertibles to offer a folding hardtop and has an excellent level of standard equipment inside it's compact cabin. The tiny turbo charged engine has been replaced by a larger unit which gives better economy and a good turn of speed which is magnified by the go-cart like chassis. Unfortunately luggage space is of a minimum in the Copen particularly when the roof is down. It's been around for quite a while now but still stands as the most smiles for your money of any convertible car.
