The Nissan Micra Convertible adds yet another perspective to the now bulging market of convertible super-mins. Its unusual, cheeky looks will be loved by some and smirked at by others. The Micra is a very practical, useable convertible with good equipment, lots of luggage space and a competitive price. On the down side the Coupé Cabriolet’s cabin is a little cramped particularly in the tiny back seats and there is noticeable wobble from the chassis over uneven roads when the roof is down. All in all though a fun and versatile little car.
The Nissan Micra Convertible was discontinued as sales dropped in 2009. With the new shape Micra being available only as a 5 door hatchback there doesn’t seem to be much of a hurry to build a replacement of this Japanese drop-top.

I own a nissan micra convertable and have had this car for approx 3 years. I love it. It has never, never let me down. It is great for parking and although when I first got it, it was difficult to judge when reversing ( due to the lack of view from the back window), I soon got used to it. This car I, would definately say is a Ladies car because of the head room height of the car. I cannot understand why Nissan are not keeping the production of this car going. I personally would love a 2011 model to keep my Nissan new. The boot size when the roof is up is massive, as many of my male friends have commented and even when the roof is open, you still have loads of space for the weekly shop. I love my car for its convenience, its looks, its milage, its size and above all for the Summer.
I have just bought a 08 model and i love it. I was upset to find out that no more were made after 09 as i planned to get a newer one in a few years. So please make some more as they are a fun car to drive and parking is easy. Im looking forward to the summer aswell.
I have bought one just before Christmas, I love it. But i do have a question if anyone can help. The boot lid should it have a liner inside of the boot lid? (Please help)
No, I had to purchase a boot liner from my local Nissan dealer, Its worth getting.
I don’t have a cover on my boot lid. Sorry my last message was about the boot liner not the lid.
I have had mine new since 2007 and I still love it to bits and, touch wood, it has never let me down. I would agree that it looks a bit of a girly car, but it drives beautifully and the boot is massive, I can get my husbands and my golf clubs and our trolleys in the boot if the roof is up, and still get the clubs in with the roof down. The rear seats are small, too small for adults really unless it was a very short journey, but this is not a problem to me. My only criticism is that the windows mist up quickly on a cold day, but easily solved by putting the heater on full blast! I was sad when I heard Nissan stopped making the Micra cc, it is a really great little, fun car and I intend keeping mine for a long time yet.
