The stunning Alfa Spider is a big improvement on the previous model. It still suffers a certain amount of body flex but the finish is now far more sturdy. Performance is good from either the 4 cylinders or the lovely V6 engine, the latter also having four wheel drive to help put the power down. There is a diesel option which can make a lot of sense if you are doing a high mileage but you will miss out on the soundtrack. The styling is attractive and well balanced both inside and out.
The Alfa Romeo Spider is a good car however the competition in the roadster sector is very impressive.
