Lexus IS Convertible (2010-2013)

The Lexus IS Convertible brought fresh blood to their convertible range; offering a broader appeal than the ageing SC. As with the SC, it has a folding hardtop to combine the security of a coupe with the fun of a convertible. The three piece roof is made from aluminium. The reduction in weight should not only benefit performance on the road but should also lead to a long living, fast moving mechanism. Handling is more refined than sporting and makes this more of a grand tourer than a sports car.

I own a lexus and would love it if lexus would come out with a 4 wheel drive convertible. There is a great buyers market. I would be one of them!s

  2. Paul Tomacelli Paul Tomacelli says:

I drove it and liked it except for one major stopping point. Whoever designed the interior failed? The interior is done all in black except for the seats and door panels. Now don’t get me wrong but someone must obviously love black, but it looks like someone had too much black spray paint and went hog-wild in the interior. The dealer tried to tell me that I could not get the car in one solid color on the interior. It looks like when the car was assembled that the factory workers grabbed whatever was left on the shelf and installed it. For this reason, I have decided to purchase something else and have written Lexus off my list of cars to buy. I believe that speaking with my wallet.
