Ariel Atom
The Ariel Atom is not your average convertible. In fact it's not really a useable road car. It's best described as a road legal racing car. It is stripped down to the minimum components and rather than using space age materials and computer technology to give it performance it relies on a high revving Honda V-tech engine and very little else. The resulting power to weight ratio along with excellent chassis and suspension design has given it a reputation for being something of a giant killer. Just hope it doesn't rain as there is no roof, hood or body panels to speak of!
