A perfect mix of high performance and understated cool. This car has huge mounts of power and a stiff chassis yet the handling is uninspired. The S4 is very fast but like other Audis it's not really a driver's car. Otherwise it is hard to fault. The power delivery is smooth and the gearbox precise. You can also expect the usual impeccable Audi build quality. An alternative to a BMW M3 if style is more important than substance or if you prefer your power with a little less excitement.
