Jaguar XKR Convertible
The XKR manages to shine even among it's prestigous rivals. It has a supercharged version of the XK's V8 engine, a lightweight all aluminium construction, exceptional suspension and powerful brakes but no single element makes this car great. The basis of this car is good enough for Aston Martin and this fact helps to explain the sense of occasion of the XKR. It's pure theatre and next to a DB9 looks rather good value. The new 5 litre V8 added in 2009 pushes power beyond 500bhp and takes sprint times well below the 5 second mark without using any extra fuel.
