Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
Usually considered to be big and heavy the latest incarnation of the Corvette is smaller and lighter than previous model. In fact it's 128kg lighter than the BMW M3. This along with huge amounts of grip make this finally a car to be considered for sportscar status. It's still not a vehical to be thrown around corners, it still sits on cart springs after all, but power and sound from the big V8 more than makes up for it.
