Wiesmann, one of the leading lights in small independent motor manufacturers has closed its doors due to mounting financial pressures. The company which, unable to pay its suppliers, first went into administration in August 2013.

There’s no doubt that the Germans love convertible cars and despite it coming around at the wrong end of the summer, the Frankfurt Motor Show promises a treasure trove of stunning new cabriolets and roadsters when it opens on 15th September 2009. Maserati GranCabrio
