The BamBoo is Rinspeed’s latest concept car – a taste of summer with styling that reflects a vision of 1970’s St. Tropez. However, despite retro styling this is a vision of the future with nnovations such as a communication display in place of a radiator grille and an inflatable roof that also doubles as a beach blanket.
Power comes from an electric motor propelling it to a top speed of 120 km/h while the battery’s capacity is enough for 105 kilometers. Perhaps not an everyday car but ideal for summer evenings and trips from the hotel to the beach.
The Rinspeed BamBoo will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
