In what appears to be a blunder on the website of model car manufacturer Maisto, images of the yet to be released drop-top C7 Corvette Stingray Convertible were published a little too early. The model car maker was likely to have been given the secret pictures at an earlier date so that they could plan production of models to co-incide with the real cars launch.

Bentley’s GTC has long been an exceptional convertible car in both performance and luxury. The latest model to be revealed – the Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible with its top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h) takes the concept even further as the world’s fastest four-seat convertible car.

The Tokyo Motor Show always throws up a few surprises and one of these for 2013 is that the discontinued S2000 Roadster will be on the Honda stand. The car branded as the Honda S2000 Modulo Climax is fitted with a range of new aftermarket modifications from the company’s Modulo sub-brand.

An updated version of the BMW Z4 Roadster has been announced for 2013. While the four cylinder sDrive28i, and the six cylinder sDrive35i and sDrive35is see power increases, there will also be a new entry level car aimed at the european market.

Volkswagen have released a video of their up-coming performance model the VW Golf R Cabriolet. The video tells us a little about the 270 horsepower convertible. As usual for a Volkswagen the styling is understated but we spotted aerodynamic side skirts and twin exhaust tail pipes, LED daytime running lights and a new sporty front bumper panel.
