Vauxhall the British arm of General Motors has launched its new full-sized four-seat convertible car that we were teased with a month ago. The fabric roofed Vauxhall Cascada is targeting the premium market, an area which the brand hasn’t entered into since the 1930s.

Ariel Motor Company has released the latest version of it’s bare bones track-day wonder the Atom. Visually the Ariel Atom 3.5 has revised bodywork (what there was of it) and a new lighting system with twin projector headlamps along with LED indicators and tail lamps.

Due to be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in late November, the latex incarnation of the Convertible Beetle aims to be sportier and have a less feminine appeal. The traditional fabric soft-top of the previous Beetle Cabriolet remains but it is flatter and sits behind a more upright windscreen. It is fast operating for a 4 seater convertible with an opening time of just 10 seconds.

We’ve been tempted with the anticipation of the Jaguar F-Type Roadster for some time. Development cars have been flaunted on public roads in various levels of disguise while undergoing final testing and in the last couple of weeks there have been renderings leaked to the press. The Jaguar F-Type has now been officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show and it is every bit as impressive as the speculation led us to believe.

Production of the much loved tiny Daihatsu Copen Roadster ended earlier this year and there has been speculation for some time as to what (if anything) will follow it. Daihatsu seem unlikely to disappoint having shown several concepts over the last few years. The latest of these is the Daihatsu D-R Roadster.
