Convertible drivers didn’t get the chance to buy a drop-top BMW 1M and with the one year limited edition of coupes now sold, the German brand has seen fit to introduce a baby version. This time it is available as both a coupe and convertible and despite the lack of an M-Sport badge this is a serious performance model.

Since the new Golf Cabriolet was first announced fans have been eagerly awaiting a GTi version of the droptop. The renderings so far released give us a taste of what the new GTi Cabrio will look like when it is launched at the Geneva Motor Show.

Preceding the all new car we hope to see introduce later this year a pair of new limited edition versions of the BMW 1-Series Convertible have been released. In what we expect may be a final edition, the small convertible comes a bundle of extras including unique wheel and trim designs.

The American icon gets another face-lift and a new set of gadgets to keep it going through 2012. Ford seem happy with the mechanics of the current Mustang convertible and have left these unchanged so both the V6 and V8 powered GT options remain.

GM’s Vauxhall and Opel brands will be getting a new convertible soon by the look of a teaser image released today. The new car is expected to have a fabric roof unlike the current Astra Twintop Convertible.
