By the time the hardtop Lamborghini Veneno was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March the three cars planned for production had already sold. Demand among the super-rich was obviously strong however as now the Italian super car maker has announced their intention to build 9 convertible versions.

With the collapse of the Saab business the future of boutique sportscar brand Spyker was looking bleak for a while but after an injection of cash from China the way was paved for development of a new model. The Spyker B6 Venator Spyder shown here is at this point, still a concept it is one that looks very much close to production.

In what appears to be a blunder on the website of model car manufacturer Maisto, images of the yet to be released drop-top C7 Corvette Stingray Convertible were published a little too early. The model car maker was likely to have been given the secret pictures at an earlier date so that they could plan production of models to co-incide with the real cars launch.
